QTest Labs Studies are designed and conducted to show the risk profile for potential pharmacologic agents and therapeutic devices. These studies are conducted in both normal animals and on animals with disease states that predisposed to toxicities.

Our models provide assurance, with high sensitivity and specificity that the Pharmacologic agent or device is safe for the cardiovascular system.

Qtest Labs investigates effects on all important cardiovascular targets including:

- Electrophysiological
- Ventricular Mechanical
- Vascular
- Baroreceptor sensitivity
- Cardiac Output and Fractionation
of Cardiac output.

When pharmacologic agents Affect AV conduction we investigate with the effect is supra-nodal and or infra-nodal.

We also investigate if a compound produces an arrhythmia de novo, or if it maybe provoked by programmed electrical stimulation.

We utilize a series of models to expand the range of cardiovascular data that can be assessed on test articles. These models also ensure that studies are more comprehensive and affordable. For example, we can test a compound in a Langendorff preparation and expand the testing of a compound by putting them into (in-vivo) models to determine mechanisms of action. QTest Labs reads and interprets ECGs from sponsor driven safety pharmacology and toxicology studies. All are conducted under GLP compliance and meet standards set by the ICH guidelines.
