QTest Labs makes recommendations
in ECG methodology (recorders,
leads, filters) that might expedite
and facilitate ECG acquisition.
Electrocardiograms can be sent
for analysis from other organizations
(contract research labs, pharmaceutical
houses, etc) for interpretation
and reporting.
Intervals are measured to document
drug-induced changes in, but
not limited to, heart rate,
conductivity, ventricular repolarization,
myocardial injury (ischemia),
and chamber enlargement.
In addition to making conventional
measurements, QTest Labs suggests
measuring peak of T (Tp) to
end of T (Te) and beat to beat
instability of QT.
Subjective and objective differences
among groups and between sexes
can be made.
ECG findings are classified
according to physiological and
toxicological relevance.
Statistical analysis can be
